IAC offers the industry’s most comprehensive line of sound control products. IAC is unique in guaranteeing the performance of its products; prior to shipment, each product line is pre-tested for performance in our in-house Aero-Acoustic Research Laboratory. Our lab is accredited for eleven test procedures under the National Institute of Standards and Technology National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP). IAC’s research and development team continuously designs new products and re-engineers existing products to address unique noise-control requirements. IAC always guarantees the in-field performance of the specification.
We are looking for a Designer/Drafter. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Preparation of customer approval & fabrication drawings using AutoCad 2005
· Work directly with Engineering and Sales to fit their design needs
· Perform simple computer data entries and basic geometric calculations
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
· High School Diploma or equivalent is required, AAS degree preferred
· Must have 2+ years experience using AutoCad 2005
· Good communications skills (written and verbal)
· Ability to multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment
· Sheet metal manufacturing, knowledge of construction and architectural drafting background is a plus
